Vista - Tape Backup in Vista

I have 5728 installed. I use a 20 GB tape backup and have Novastor
installed. It all works ok except I have to watch what I pick to
backup. If I choose the entire C drive it wants to back up 80 gigs
( only a 40 gig HD). It looks like it wants to backup all .lnk files
as the object of the lnk, not just the link. I don't know if this is
a Novastor problem or a Vista problem. It works ok in XP, just backs
up normal amount. I like to use tape instead of dvd because of the
much larger capacity.

Did you do bug report? Talk to the Novastor tech support?

I did the MS bug report but have not yet contacted Novastor. I will
do that shortly. My work-around for now is to just exclude those
parts from backup.
