Vista Tutorial - Windows Update service won't start.

I also get installer errors. It is Vista Home Premium. I feel the problems
started after running a system restore.
How would I re-install the Installer, 4 or 4.5. I have searched on the
Internet and on Microsoft sites. The Installer error is 0x80080005. Also, I
get often a box that reads: Host Process for Windows Services stopped
working and was closed. I have also scanned for malware to see if that was
the cause, and nothing yet was found.

Is there some way to uninstall then re-install the installer and Update
agent.? I keep getting installer error Number 0x80080005.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
