Remote Access to Vista via XP?

I have occasionally helped a friend by using Remote Assistance. He now
has a new computer with Vista. Will I still be able to access his
computer from mine? I don't know which version of Vista he has.

Thanks.

Terry

Use Team Viewer. It's free for personal use and much, much easier for the
non-techie people whom you're trying to support. On your end, you'll
install the full support module. On your friend's end, he'll download the
"instant customer support" module, which doesn't need to be installed. Have
him download it to somewhere he'll find it. Then when he wants help all he
will have to do is call you and double-click on TeamViewerQS.exe.

Re: Remote Access to Vista via XP?

Thanks for the input. I went to the TeamViewer website and downloaded
it. Looks interesting and possibly helpful.

TeamViewer is OK and fast. You don't have to install it.
