    Hi Bill,
What I think I have to do is put Agent folder in my Administrator Documents & Settings folder. Is that where you put
    yours?

Actually my Agent is not installed in the program files folder
hierarchy. I have it installed in a folder named Agent off the root
    of the C:\ drive.

    Thanks Les,
I will copy my Agent folder to the C:\ root.
    That solves one big problem.

FYI, a clean install of Agent 4 on Vista RC1 works perfectly on my
    machine.
Note that I have UAC disabled.

I would suggest to install Agent 4 and then copy the database file
only on your new install (sort of what I always do with Outlook).

Mine is installed in D:\Program files (because C was too small ).

I need the complete folder. Have 490 MB of email and NG's. If I only copy the data base where do I put the rest of the
    folder?

    Hi Telstar,
Actually I think you have the best way of all I have herd.
Leave it in XP and create a shortcut.
    Isn't that what you did?
I know that's what I am going to try. It would eliminate all the problems with my backups
(Only one folder instead of two)

No, I didnt have a previous version of Agent, I have a clean install
of vista 5600 and a clean install of agent 4.

I was suggesting to install Agent4 in vista under a different folder
(some ppl suggested not in c:\program files and that seems a good
idea), then copy your database there.

    Can Forté support help you?

I think 5728 /broke/ a lot of programs that were working under 5600
    and *fixed* others.
No longer working: Kensington Mouseworks (Vista now treats mouse as
standard P/S 2, which does not have Kensington features).
