| | Re: RPC server unavailable Vista's Defended is anti-spyware and usually exists well with anti-virus programs. Disable/Stop AVG, does the RPC errors stop? It could be AVG problem. Did you have a previous anti-virus installed. If you uninstall an anti-virus always go to the maker's website and get their specific uninstaller utility. Glad you found the culprit...........
