Re: RPC server unavailable

More than one Anti-Virus program installed? Or remnants
of an old one with a newer installed?

Re: RPC server unavailable

Thank you for answering! I found the culprit: Acronis True Image Home - the
scheduler was deactivated.

But yes - I have more than one Anti-virus installed: AVG plus Vista's
Defender, which I can't shut down ;-)

Re: RPC server unavailable

Vista's Defended is anti-spyware and usually exists well
with anti-virus programs. Disable/Stop AVG, does the
RPC errors stop? It could be AVG problem. Did you
have a previous anti-virus installed. If you uninstall an
anti-virus always go to the maker's website and get
their specific uninstaller utility.

Glad you found the culprit...........
