| Guest | Indexing Results Only Return Inbox and Sent Items Hello Group, When I search for email using the Start menu or the Search window, only emails in the Inbox and Sent Items folders are returned. My setup is Vista SP1 with Outlook 2007 SP1. Running the exact same search in Outlook itself, returns all results, from all folders, instantly. So far, I've rebuilt and reset my index, made sure that both my PST files are selected for indexing, and that the option to "include messages from the Deleted Items folder in each data file" is checked. When I move any email from the Deleted Items folder back to the Inbox, it shows up in the search results. This leads me to believe that this behavior is by design. If so, is there anyway to force Vista to return results from the Deleted Items folder (where all my old email resides?). Thanks! Ahmed |
