Re: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 & Win2k3 Ent network

I'll try that with my Win XP SP3 laptop and see if it works. I'm
assuming that it will. However, have you or anyone else tried this patch
with Win2k3?

Thank you,

Re: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 & Win2k3 Ent network

Problem solved.

The solution as it turns out was rather simple, and something I had
forgotten about. In active directory the user had been limited to log
onto one specific computer, the old laptop he was using. Once I removed
the restriction he was able to access the network share on the server
from Vista.

Thank you all for your assistance.
