Vista - Usb "connection terminated"

HI,

I installed a USM Modem and a Huawei E226 USB Mobile broadband modem.
They all come with Vista x64 drivers.
I do see them as installed on the device manager; but when I use their respective programs:
a) Mobile Partner (for the Huawei broadband modem), it appears "Connection terminated" and "cannot find a phone-book entry".
b) Ipass roaming (for the USB Modem) or I'm trying to create a dial-up connection.
When I try to use the USB Modem, it says that there's no modem available to create a dial up Connection.
With the Ipass it doesn't show the modem on installed devices to use.

I don't know what's happenning, but I'm getting crazy.
For your information, either the USB Modem and/or the Huawei E226 worked perfectly on any other computer running Windows XP.

Can anyone help me with thi issue or if you know how to solve it, I would appreciate it.

I am running Windows Vista Hope Premium x86 64 bits.
