Save to or burn CDs

Does anyone else have trouble with it taking to long in Vista to burn cds.
I have a Dell with Windows Vista Home Premium with a Roxio Creator DE 10.1
No matter what is says the cds have to be formatted and this takes forever.
I guess this is one of Vista's bad points.
If anyone has found any cure let me know. I have talked to Dell via email
to India and that was usless. Also Microsoft doesn't answer their emails to
well.
I have posted a similar posting earlier but nothing of any substance came up
there.

Why don't you try one of the free CD burning programs and compare them
to Roxio? Both of these come highly recommended.

Use a third-party burning software.
