| | Windows update broken Hi, I got Vista Ultimate SP1 on a notebook.Till now, everything worked great for years. But shortly, it began to run awol. My problem is, that my Windows-Update-Software fails to update itself. It reports the error 0x8007371C After long search, I found out, that my registry is broken at this part. Under: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Setup\SetupInProgress Is nothing, this means, whenever I select it, it pops up, Error while opening entry. Entry Missing. Can anybody help me? Big THX, Maschdel |
