Syncing to outlook with pocket pc 5.0 still no fix?

I tried the registry fix to get my pda to sync to outlook 2007, but it did
not work.
Can someone give me a more thorough step by step to accomplishing this?
It was suggested to add a key in the registry that said "WHOS" does this
include the quotes?

Any word on when a real fix from microsoft is coming?
Thanks, frustrated without my calendar.

Hi Jimmy,

You need to respond in whatever thread you received the advice and include
the message you are responding to if you want anyone to have a clue as to
what you are talking about.

Just trying to help you out, as most helpers don't go searching through a
group, especially a large one, for followups - they check the original
thread for further questions. Your post doesn't have any background, sort of
like walking in on a conversation, so few will know what you've already
done. Plus, your chances of getting decent follow up are slimmer as anyone
who read the original thread may not notice this follow up post, very few
people read every thread.

But don't worry, I always chill, just trying to help.

RE: Syncing to outlook with pocket pc 5.0 still no fix?

Jimmy,

Add the WHOS key without the quotes. Close the registry. Update Vista.
Reboot. Connect the PPC and set up your sync partnership. That's what
worked for me. Good luck.

No quotes on the WHOS key. Reboot after adding it. Update and you should be
good to go.
