| | Help: "i Windows Defender: A System Change Was Made by a Known Application" After System Start? My 64-bit Vista Ultimate system seems to be working fine and I'm only tracking very minor stuff. I recently embraced using Windows Defender and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 at the same time with most all features turned on except parental controls and automatic scanning. Automatic updating for both are on and during normal application work and browser surfing these programs seem to be getting along together. When the system is started--after every cold and warm boot--Defender seems to always take the lead over KIS--it shows up in the tray first and I get this info message: i Windows Defender A system change was made by a known application. Change type Internet Explorer Add-ons Application C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 2009\ie_banner_deny.htm. What is Defender trying to tell me? What can I set differently so this message doesn't appear every time I start? Thanks. ~<Susan>~ Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. - Charles Schultz |

Set Defender to allow it |
