| Guest | Start Menu Problem in RC1 Start Menu problem in Vista RC1 In the first place my problem was unfunctional shortcut in the Start Menu recent used programs. I useed upgraded Word 2007TR. Creating new shortcut in the desktop with correct target and drak&drop it to Start Menu’s upper pane solved that problem, where I used to keep my commonly used programs. Real problem arised, when I right click the Start Menu and selected Properties. There is two check box options in the Privacy group, second one is “Store and display a list of recently opened programs”. I uncheked that option and applied it, everything got cleared from the Start Menu recent opened programs pane. So far so good. I again went to the Start Menu properties and checked previous privacy group box option and applied changes, but it don’t worked. Now I can’t see recently opened programs anymore. Do I need change manually something in the registry? |
