RC2 build 5744 - Is SLI fixed?

Hi, I've downloaded every single beta release of Vista, and of course, I'm
going to download this as soon as it's available again. If you have a Geforce
7950 you know that the drivers included in previous releases make it
impossible to install Vista with one of these cards present.

I'm asking anyone with a 7950, or 2 7XXX in SLI mode that already downloaded
the RC2 to confirm if this is fixed or not.

Thanks!!!

It's a bit early to answer that. The RC2 download has only just become
available (for a select group initially).

Sometimes its best to even try for yourself to find out. If not, you bug it.

Re: RC2 build 5744 - Is SLI fixed?

Of course, I agree.

Thing is, RC2 was up for a while, then down, and I didn't know if it was
gonna be back up any time soon. It is now, and I'm downloading it

I'll post my results as soon as possible.

Re: RC2 build 5744 - Is SLI fixed?

SLI is supposed to be fixed by rtm, but I don't know about build 5744.

RE: RC2 build 5744 - Is SLI fixed?

It works!!

Just upgraded XP to Vista RC2, and had no problems at all. Doesn't look like
SLI is working, I'm getting half the frame rates I had on XP, but at least it
doesn't crash anymore on install.
