HELP! Vista Business - Active Director

Cliff Notes: User's computer crashed. Purchased new computer with Vista Business. Joined Domain(intranet domain at the office). Installed SQL tools, Crystal Reports XI Developer, Office.

Cannot map any drives to folders in domain. Error message is in regard to permissions. No change was made to domain, Active Directory or folders. No change made to user ID and password.

User logs in to computer using <username>@<domain_name> with Control-Alt-Delete Logon at Vista Business startup.

Help is most appreciated. User can log in on an XP Professional Computer and have access to all their folders.

Re: HELP! Vista Business - Active Director

the message said "the folder you are trying to access exists, but you do not have permissions to access the folder. See your network administrator." or something very close to that.

Re: HELP! Vista Business - Active Director

Please post the details of ipconfig /all from the affected computer. Can the
user logon to a different computer running Vista and map drives?
