Vista and replaceing a motherboard of similar type.

Hey Guys,

I am changing my motherboard from ASUS P5Q deluxe to the ASUS Maximus II board. Will i have to re-activate my Vista even though the two boards are both based on the P45 chipset and similar design. Could I get pull it off or will Vista still read it as a new motherboard and have to go through all the re-activation grief with Microsoft? Thanks in advance.

What's up, stranger?

Good to see some of the better MVPs still come around.

I like your honest observations about XP, Vista and 7 posted
on your blog.

I'm using Windows 7, I like it.

Take care,

Michael

I like Win 7, but I can't organize it the way that I like or want. Somebody
in the Win 7 beta groups suggested that I get a Mac or Linux. What an
attitude!!!

Oh well.. :-)
