| | Re: Acronis Thanks for the suggestion Andre. I tried what you suggested and it killed Windows with the familiar blue screen of death. It's too bad because I use Acronis a lot. | | Re: Acronis I know it might be a security issue... but try running it in compatibility mode with XP. The first time I tried to work with Windows Live Mail Desktop, said I didn't have the permissions to do so... except I was running as the *full* administrator - slapped it in compat. mode with XP SP2 and viola - works like a charm. -- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. | | Re: Acronis I have 9.1 TrueImage installed under Vista Beta 2. I have just restored an image of an XP machine (backup) from within Vista to a new directory. All files look intact and good. I could not mount the same image, I had to use restore.
