Download web site shows "Signatures of the ISO files:". What are they or

They are used to verify that your download is correct. Many times folks
download an ISO, burn it and have issues either with the burn or the files.
Might be because the actual download is corrupted. So, you are able to
calculate the MD5 hash to verify your download against the signature of the
original. A program like Digestit 2004
(http://digestit.kennethballard.com/) will calculate the sums for you. Once
you install Digestit, you simply right click on the ISO and select either
calculate or verify MD5/SHA-1 hash. Your download, once verified would
match the numbers listed for a correct download.
