Whatever you think you did, it doesn't work on Usenent, where you
    actually are.

Explain your problem in detail. "bump" only works on a bulletin
board, and though you think you're on one, it's only a gateway to
Usenet, a messaging system on the Internet.

Again... explain your problem in detail: what you are trying to do,
what then happens... what you've already done to troubleshoot it.

And do NOT use texting shortcuts like "u" for "you". Use plain
    English.

    Hi, rdc1337.

You posted to some unnamed "forum", which probably made you sign in with a
password, which may have given you a feeling of confidentiality and
"belonging". What the forum managers apparently did not tell you is that
they forwarded your post, via the vBulletin USENET gateway, to where I'm
reading it: in the Usenet newsgroup microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
on the Microsoft public news server - so all the world of Usenet can read
your "forum" post. But the managers only forward SOME of the forum posts.
They did not forward your original question or any other context, so we have
no idea of WHAT you are "bumping". :>( These newsgroups are also referred
to as Microsoft Communities or as Discussion Groups when accessed via the
    web.

If you'd like to cut out the middleman and post your question here directly,
    just click here:
    news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....vista.general

That one click, unless blocked by something like a corporate firewall, will
    (1) start your default newsreader (OE/WM/WLM or a third-party news client);
    (2) create a News Account for the Microsoft public news server, which is
free and does not require a logon; (3) connect you to THIS newsgroup; (4)
download the 300 newest messages here (probably including this thread); and
    (5) present the latest post for you in the Reading Pane. Try this interface
for a while. You can use Tools | Options and other settings to customize it
    to fit YOU.
