Reminders show when the calendar is open but not when closed.
I checked the box: Reminders should show when Windows Calendar is
not running. I was working fine.
I don't see any scheduled task under WindowsCalendar in Task
Scheduler when the calender is closed.
Found many hits on the net but no solution.

I created a new account and with that account it works fine. It created a task in the Task Schedular (C:\Program Files\Windows Calendar\WinCal.exe/reminder)
and reminders are working.
So Calender is working fine only not with my account.
How do I get it working with my account?

I removed "Reminders - <user>" from the registry. After a reboot I opened and closed Calender. The task "Reminders - <user>" is back in the Task Schedular and the problem is solved.
