| | Some keys on keyboard print the wrong symbol... I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 VO1 on which some keys are displaying the wrong symbol. Several of these keys are connected to the symbols above the numbers on the keyboard that require the shift button to be pressed i.e.. Shift + 2 should result in @ (ampersand) but I get the £ symbol ! Can anyone suggest what I can do to correct this? The computer is nearly new. It is running Vista Home Premium. Thanks in anticipation! DD |

Thanks DD |

I sometimes get é and the only way to correct this is to close the program and re-start it. I have tried another keyboard and checked the driver and I just did a clean install (because of a raid problem) and it still happens. I think it is a Vista bug but since it does not happen often I can't reproduce it. Al |
