Vista - Vista Disk Cleanup

This does not want to run on a new machine from Dell. When you run the program the following happens:

1. You get the the screen that asks whether you want only your files or users on machine

2. After selecting (either choice) there is a delay. A screen pops up saying which drive to select (no options - all grayed out and no drives specified) and then there is an immediate errror message that the program failed. It goes out to search for possible repair options. And then I have to close. Any Ideas to resolve?
