Exact Duplicate Documents Folder: How Do I Delete One Of Them

I have Vista 64 and somehow In users/henry/ I have 2 exact document folders. I mean exactly. It is like 2 folders holding the exact same files. Delete something in one it deletes in other. How do I get rid of one of them?
Thanks
Henry

Hello Henry,

Double check to make sure that you have the default location set for the Documents folder in the registry (folder named "Personal" in registry) with OPTION THREE in the tutorial below.

Personal User Folder - Restore Missing Folder

Afterwards, copy the contents of the folder to the desktop as a backup, delete both Document folders, type "shell:Personal" in the Start menu search line and press Enter, restart the computer twice, then the folder should be back to one. Now copy the backup contents back into the folder.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
