I have a new Lenovo ThinkPad W700 and 95% of the time when I shutdown it
will hang at the screen where you see "Shutting down...." A couple of times
I've left it overnight only to see the same screen in the AM. I can force a
power off but this is not a good idea and at some point I will get burned.
Currently I'm forced to reboot at least once a day more often I'm rebooting
3-4 times a day. I've installed all of the Microsoft updates and I have the
latest drivers from Lenovo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've looked in Control Panel > Performance > Advanced Tools and nothing is
listed as a problem at the top of the window.

Lenovo has a "toolbox" with several different utilities for testing the
system and I've run them several times and everything is OK (no problems are
found).

I have a bluetooth mouse and headset. Sometimes the mouse will stop
responding (the touchpad always works) and I may lose it for a few seconds
or a few minutes.
