Anyone have problems with torrents?

When I try to download something - after some time (5-10 min) network hangs.
Helps only complete computer restart. I try azureus and bitcomet - same
resultat. Not all torrents, only bigger then 1 gb, or with 2 or more files.
Network card - nForce. Anyone have same problem? That start from 5728 build.

Re: Anyone have problems with torrents?

Same problem here... was fine with RC1 but the builds after crash within
minutes (azureus) to up to an hour (utorrent).
Seems it effects those mostly with nforce4. Looks like I need to find an old
nic card and see if it continues.

Re: Anyone have problems with torrents?

have you tried www.utorrent.com ?

I can understand why you like azureus, its a memory and resource hog just
like vista is.

Try utorrent that is a masterpiece of efficiency... unlike vista!

Download the standalone 150 k for crying out loud.

MS should hire the developer of utorrent as an advisor...

they could learm a great deal from him

Re: Anyone have problems with torrents?

Problem solved! Same old Checksum offload! When nvida fix it? :-/
In Nvidia nForce network controller, in advanced - IP checksum offload must
be disabled.

I think - you must find a doctor and a job!
First - can heal your sick brain (or just remove it).
Second - can helps get you some money, that you can buy youself some RAM.

Listen freak! Normal people have enough RAM to use Vista and Azureus. If you
beggar can't allow youselt to use it - that your personal tradegy. Go find
some charity!
