Vista - 7950GX2 gpu does not run with vista (RC1&RC2)

Did ever anybody find the solution of installing vista with systems nvidia's
7950Gx2 card on. I tried everything .Ýnstalled vista with an old 6200 pci-e
card, but when I change the card to 7950gx2 vista won't boot.
pls help!!!

Did you try connecting the monitopr cable to the other output on the card.
I ran into that problem with 2 BFG 7900GT's in SLI Mode.
Vista installed then on the last restart there was no video output. I
connected the cable to the other connection and then had no problem.

This worked for me with a clean install of RC2. I have a 7950 GX2 from EVGA.

I had no problems with this last version of Vista (RC2).

I have a 7950 by Gigabyte. Did an upgrade of XP, and everything worked fine.
No BSOD like with the previous versions of Vista.

I have the monitor plugged on the left DVI connector.

I have a 7950GT on a K8NGMF9 Gigabyte mobo, Vista 5744 RC2 and a very similar problem. In the device manager I have a ! next to my video card, and under the properties of the video card, I get this error, "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)"


Also it states the location as being "PCI bus 2, device 0, function 0" This card is installed in the PCI E slot so this could be the problem.

Anybody got any ideas on a fix?


ALSO people who also have this problem post up your your card, mobo, and vista version, maybe we can come up with a fix for this.
