| vista premium 64bit | Navigation Pane Question When I first downloaded some of my photos from another computer and clicked on “Pictures” the navigation pane showed a series of what I am calling psuedo-folders under the heading “Date Taken”. Under that heading were “folders” like “2009”. Clicking on 2009 displayed ALL the photos in ALL the folders and subfolders under my “Pictures” folder, regardless of which actually folder where they resided. This was great because I was able to see all the duplicates my wife had stored. (she liked to store the same photo of multiple folders). I proceeded to download all the photos I have on all the computers I have to get them all in one place AND to remove all the duplicates. After that was accomplished I click on “Pictures” again and *POOF* those psuedo folders were gone. I did setup to see all folders as large icons and to “unhide” know extensions and clicked “Apply to All Folders”. I don’t remember if I was or was not looking at a picture folder or not when I did this but that is all I recall doing as far as setup goes. So, am I crazy or did I really see these psuedo folders? If I did see them where’d they go? and can I get them back? PS: this is a brand new laptop and this is my first adventure w.ith Vista. I have to say, so far I kind of like it |

Look again at ALL of the navigation pane. Tom |
