RE: Default Gateway 0.0.0.0, Local Network Access Only

You are not alone. I just got done posting this in another thread. For some
reason these routers dont like vista.
We've have a linksys WRT54GS and had the same problem at our house we run 2
xp
laptops and 2 vista laptops, 2 itouch, along with network printers and our
wii. My husband had comcast come out and check the power and there was too
much "juice" from comcast going to it. But then it happened again. I called
comcast and they pinged my connection so i knew there was nothing on that
end. Our home network was working we just couldn't get on the other side of
the router. We called linksys and got a tech that actually knew what they
were doing. We took screen shots as they walked us thru.
First update your firmware.
In you address bar type in your ip address ***.***.*.* it will bring you to
a login page. Leave the user name blank, type admin in the password
Under Setup (Basic Setup) change the last part of your starting ip address
to ***.***.*.100 - save
under wireless
(basic) mixed; your network name, 6-2.437ghz, enable, save
(wireless security) wep, 1, 64 bits 10 hex digits, in key 1 put your passcode
(wireless MAC) disable
(advanced wireless settings)auto, default,auto,disable, enable, 100,1,2346,
2347, off, enable, save

Hope this works as well for you as it has us
