windows image viewer

In XP I could hover the cursor over a thumbnail and see the camera model and
similar details, but Vista's information is minimal. I have been able to
customize my picture folder so that when an image is opened, all information
is available, but cannot at the moment see how to configure thumbnail
information.

Any help would be appreciated.
