| Guest | Re: How is RC2 a public download? That's sort of my point. If wasn't for a couple of ppl posting actual file names (here and on their livespaces pages) how else would one find these downloads? Of course it was easy to change the URL from /rc1/ to /rc2/ and bam you have the link. But was the link actually made public? Not that I really care, just curious about how it's getting leaked when MS itself is still offering RC1 and not RC2 to download. Nor have I gotten any email to invite me to a download. So before I post my thoughts about RC2, I want to make sure I've haven't done anything illegal. Just my two cents. Randy "danbrown" wrote: > > I'd say it was from reading posts. They delay just 3 days.... --- "Randy H" <RHollaw@HOTmail.com> wrote in message news:6D7FDD3A-75D4-4585-A0E5-39D480BD6E7D@microsoft.com... > How is RC2 a public download? | Guest | Re: How is RC2 a public download? What is the point of only releasing RC2 to a limited group? If this is the last release before RTM, wouldn't they want as many folks hammering at the code as possible? I've been running RC1 and like it but would love to see what's been fixed with RC2. RC2 should be availible to everyone who has been already running and testing Vista....
