| Guest | Windows Explorer is stuck at Windows Folder on starting up Hi everyone, My Explorer always stays at the Windows folder whenever I open it. Is there a way to specify another folder as default? |

| Guest | Windows Explorer is stuck at Windows Folder on starting up Hi Ben.... Yes there is. I always found the default annoying, too, but got the answer years ago off Windows Annoyances. If you want to open Windows Explorer on a certain drive or folder go to your Windows Explorer button, right click and open Properties. In Target type C:\Windows\Explorer.exe /n, /e, C: The "C:" is the variable. If you want to open in your D Drive then you would replace the last C: with D:. If you want a specific folder then replace the C: with the path to that specific folder. Hope this helps.
