A quick question for someone

Here is a quick question.

When I installed vista (build 5744) on my C: (clean install) it installed
windows on C:, but it installed the boot manager on D:?

I wondered why this happened.

FYI: 2 X 200 gig sata drives.

NIK

Bootmanager goes on the first active primary partition. Drive "C" is
the drive that vista is installed on (not neccesarily the first disk).
