| Guest | Windows Security Warning I have a program from a known vendor that I would like to install on Vista Business. When attempting Installation I get the message box: "Windows Security Warning Windoes fouind that this file is potentially harmful. To help protect your computer, Windoes has blocked access to this file. Name: Setup.exe" I really want to install this program. How can I defeat this Security Warning?? -- Chris Breidenbaugh |

| Guest | Re: Windows Security Warning Thank you for your quick responses. Unfortunately, neither proposed solution did the trick. I do not have an option under Security to "Unblock" and there is also no "Run As Administrator" option when right clicking. Windows Help suggested going intio Windows Mail and adjusting a Security setting there. That too was no help. This program is currently Zipped. It gives me the same message if I try to unzip it. Any other ideas ??? -- Chris Breidenbaugh "Dave-UK" wrote: Quote: > > "Chris Breidenbaugh" <chrisn0pamatkvaweldingdotcom> wrote in message > news:5B53D92E-3EDF-4034-8A39-A7A57D7A506B@xxxxxx Quote: > > I have a program from a known vendor that I would like to install on Vista > > Business. Also you could try unzipping it with WinZip. |

| Guest | Re: Windows Security Warning OK, got it. Let me tell you what I found. There was an Unblock button for the zip file, but not one for the individual SETUP.EXE file. I clicked the Unblock button and everyting went nominally. Thanks for all your help. -- Chris Breidenbaugh "Dave-UK" wrote: Quote: > > "Chris Breidenbaugh" <chrisn0pamatkvaweldingdotcom> wrote in message > news:20B7E1D4-D4D5-4389-B732-8CB4326FF5EA@xxxxxx Quote: > > Thank you for your quick responses.
