I want to install the software that came with my camera - worked fine
under XP. But on clicking the DVD RW Drive the burb software launches
and akss if I want to "preapare this blank disc. What is going on?

Go to the camera mftr.'s website and download the latest drivers for Vista.
Install those. The drivers on the old CD aren't going to work.

Also, sometimes I see this but if you just say "no, don't format" you
can then go to explorer and access the CD's files directly. Strange
but true.
