| vista business 32 bit | I'm unable to clear Recent items I'm having problem to clear recent items on my windows vista business 32 bit. when i try to clear recent items, it always restarting windows explorer. Anyone can help me? Thanks, Bobs |

| Vista Business | Re: I'm unable to clear Recent items I have had the same problem, but seem to have got around it. Click on the Start Button (Pearl) and RIGHT click on the Recent Items button - instead of an option to clear, I get a 'normal' menu with the option to Open the folder. Select Open. This should open the Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Recent folder. Select all files, delete them and close the folder. Your Recent Items list should now say (empty). Try opening a few files and the Recent Items list should now start filling. Have only just done this, so not sure what is going to happen over the next few days, but Good luck! |
