Can I install IE fresh on vista

Hello,
I just bought a new dell. And they seemed to do something to IE.
It takes 5 min to open. then about a min to open another tab.
I went in and disables all the add-ins. But it still is too slow to open.
Firefox is fast.

Can I install IE fresh on vista? Or is there locks on doing something like
that?
thanks

You cannot. The only thing you can do is install the latest version,
IE8.

Greg-
Hi, my name’s Cody, and I’m working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to help answer questions folks might have about Internet Explorer.
Steve’s suggestion is a good one! Your best bet might be upgrading your copy of IE to the latest and most updated version of Internet Explorer, which is Internet Explorer 8. Here’s the download link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/int...?ocid=ie8_sm_b
Let me know if you have any luck resolving the issue!
Thanks,
Cody
