Vista - firefox plugins

firefox plugins

whenever I try to stream videos using firefox i get a message saying that i
need to download certain plugins to play teh video, when i clich the download
plugins button, I get a message saying that no suitible pluggins were found.
this isnt a problem that occured with XP

What version of Firefox Ross? and video's from what site?

With FF2.0 RC2 and Vista RC2 I did have to manually install some plug ins,
like Flash and such (UAC I think got in the way of a direct install), but
once I did the manual install, I ran into no issues.

I have the version 1.5.0.7 which i got from theweb site recently, and all
videos that i have tried to stream from multiple sites give me this message,
im running vista rc2 (64bit), thanks for any help you can give.
