Vista - Error 1904 & Error 2739

am trying to downloan channel 4OD - and keep gettin error message :
error 1904. Module
C:\Windows\system32\macromed\flash\flash9d.ocx failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. contact your support personnel.

and then

Error 2739. Could not access JavaScript run time for custom action.

have googled this and tried tried most solutions offered but to no avail - anyone got an ideas??

Explorer session - quite common for online content (Youtube does the same).

It sounds like the Flash Player is only half installed. You can try
re-installing it, direct from the Adobe website:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

(You can skip the optional Google Toolbar, that isn't required).

Once you have the Adobe Flash Player working correctly, you should be able
to view online Flash content, such as video.
