Ctrl + C does not copy text

Recently, Ctrl + C does not copy text into the clipboard although
right-clicking and selecting Copy still works. This persisted even after a
reboot.
Also, Clipboard Viewer does not work at all (e.g.. Ctrl + C twice).
How do I restore these functions?

(Vista x64 SP1, Office 2007)

Thank you for your help.

RE: Ctrl + C does not copy text

Hi Erik,
I'm not sure why your Cntr-C is not working but Vista no longer has a
clipboard viewer.

Re: Ctrl + C does not copy text

Ctrl + C is handled by each program. It is not a system hotkey.

Re: Ctrl + C does not copy text

I've just encountered exactly the same problem after formatting my hard drive and completely reinstalling everything. Please tell me I need to do that again Did you find a fix?

Edit: Interestingly, right clicking and selecting copy works, CTRL+A works, it's just CTRL+C, CTRL+V and CTRL+F that have given up.... Does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Ctrl + C does not copy text

Did you highlight any text before you pressed CTRL | C ?

Re: Ctrl + C does not copy text

Hiya,
Sorry, I'd forgotten I posted this! I've actually found the problem - it was something to do with my keyboard. Don't ask what though as I haven't a clue! CTRL works, C is fine, V is fine, yet when you put them together... I've swapped the keyboard for one on my spare PC, all sorted

Thanks anyway!

Stu.
