For a one-time - or infrequent - use, this freebie should get the job
done:

If you want to do this regularly, then Casper 5.0 is the best tool to
use. After the initial cloning (you're calling it synching), you can
quickly keep it updated in a fraction of the time the original clone
took.

Re: how can I Sync

Let me give you a little more info. Both drives are 1.5 TB drives. I am using the internal one for all my movies, music, and pictures. I have about 500 gig already on both drives and have been manually backing up/cloning/syncing the files. I would like to be able to make sure they are both identical even as I add more. Ideally this could be scheduled but I am not against manually doing it with the right software/program.

This is not the same drive as my OS

If you are only interested in data, and don't require a bootable copy,
then SyncToy 2.0 - as recommended by Richard Urban - will do it
nicely.

I've never used it, but he's reliable, and I've seen it mentioned many
a time in these groups.

Hi Thealien--

Try this: On each drive where you install it type in the same email address
because that's how you link them. It works great; and updates changes made
in a second. It will also act as a backup for any files that are dropped
into Drop Box should disaster strike.

Free and has "cloudability" as well:

da bomb."---Ray Ozzie

Best,
