| | No "Copy" or "Paste" buttons/icons I have always put the "Copy" and "Paste" buttons on my toolbar for quick access. Now, in Vista, I can't even find a button for either function. How do I get these buttons/icons back into my Toolbars? Now I have to actually go to the "Edit" Menu, or use the Right-Mouse Button Menu, to do what used to be a simple one-click operation. Drag-and-Drop has never worked well. Sometimes it will work and other times it seems to just drop the files wherever it wants. Then I have to go on a manual search to recover them. What happened to the ability to "Customize" the Toolbars? The Customizing of Toolbars has been removed from Vista, except for a "Limited" selection, which someone decided to leave available. | | Re: No "Copy" or "Paste" buttons/icons Sorry- no help here. I just got so used to the instant response of using the keyboard, that I hadn't even noticed the buttons were gone. Ctrl C to copy the already selected text - that's a hard one to remember. Ctrl V to paste - next to it on the right. Ctrl X to cut no messing with menus, arranging buttons, and it even works with the menus completely off. | | Re: No "Copy" or "Paste" buttons/icons Those "Short Cuts" have worked for a long time. However, with all of the editing I accomplish, the ability to just do one mouse click to perform those actions saved me many-many keystrokes and hours. -- Life is an adventure with God leading. | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: No "Copy" or "Paste" buttons/icons Hello Ande, This may be able to help make this easier for you. It will add "Copy to Folder" and "Move to Folder" to the context menu. Context Menu - Add COPY TO FOLDER and MOVE TO FOLDER Hope this helps, Shawn I have always put the "Copy" and "Paste" buttons on my toolbar for quick access.
