| | Antivirus software for Windows Vista Can someone suggest a good antivirus program for Windows Vista? It is VERY important that the antivirus program does not consume a lot of system resources and slow down the computer like Norton- or Norman Antivirus does. I also did read the post below but did'nt get any clear suggestion here: http://www.hd720i.com/free-edition-a...ms-156719.aspx |

Please tell us the version of the application you are asking about, your OS, Service Pack level and the FULL contents of any error message(s) |

| | Re: Antivirus software for Windows Vista I've used the free version of AVG and Avast and found them both to be good at their job. AVG does, however, have a much more user friendly interface. As Planters has already suggested NOD32 is also a good all rounder. I'm currently running Eset's Smart Security which includes NOD32 on my Windows 7 system partition. -- -- John Barnett MVP Windows XP Associate Expert Windows Desktop Experience Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org Web: http://www.silversurfer-guide.com The information in this mail/post is supplied "as is". From that time I decided not to use Norton ever unless it got alot less resource hungry. Soo I am not sure if I want to try Norton yet... |
