    Internet Exployer 8

I upgraded, and have had nothing but problems:

Does anyone know how to un-install and go back to 7 until issues are worked
    out?

Sorry but I'd rather have IE7, and no Firefox. Too much confusion with the
bookmarks, no option to have link on desktop. I like those features.

If you prefer a slow, buggy browser that bogs down your computer, be my
guest. Every computer I threw Firefox on showed a marked improvement,
seems like a good enough reason right there to use it. Also, not sure
what is so confusing about the bookmarks. Oh well.

    What BS.
    IE8 is fast.
    So is IE7.
Firefox is faster in your mind.

Even Firefox in linux isn't that fast.

Actually, FF3 is buggier than IE7.
Many sites (like Intellicast) menus don't display right in FF.

They work fine in IE7, and IE8 compatibility mode.

Actually, if you visit independent sites you will find different opinions.
For example, Secunia shows 77 vulnerabilites for IE7 and 67 for FireFox 3.x.
Considering the short time FireFox 3.x has been available I would say that
isn't a good track record. If your primary goal is speed then go with Chrome.
All have their strengths and weaknesses.

I'm OK with IE8 and it does what I need without a lot of third party
add-ons, but some people want open source at any cost and regardless of the
issues (FireFox 3.0.9, for example, fixed a bug that caused the loss of
cookies). Newcomers to the browser market (Firefox and Chrome) are welcome
    and drive innovation.
