A question about UAC

One of my legacy applications has problems with UAC - it just doesn't like
the Virtual Store.

My workaround is to create the directory "c:/users/myusername/my program
files" and install the application into there.

The program then works perfectly, but I'd be interested in hearing if this is an
acceptable (and secure) solution to the problem.

Re: A question about UAC

I'm not sure Exiddor, if it's working and you are not seeing issues with
other applications that are installed in the standard Vista directories, I
would say not.

Let me see what I can find out for you.
