Vista - Internet browsing ( Firefox, IE ) is slow- Vista 64 bit

Hey guys,

I just got a new Gateway desktop and everything is fine except when I
use the internet. Loading pages takes forever and I’m sure it’s not my
connection because it’s fast on my laptop that runs xp.

I read a few sites regarding this problem but everyone assumed
something different. Some said it could be that I need to update my
drivers so I ran a scan to check for which drivers needed updates and I
came up with Realtek. But I’m not sure which realtek driver to
download, I’ve tried to install some but the scan still says that the
Realtek still needs a driver update and browsing is just as slow. Anyone
have a similar problem or know how to fix it?
