| | Windows cannot access... I have one laptop with a strange problem. All of my networked (Ethernet, not wireless) computers can see each other's disks, share printers, etc. But the new one, named "Jackies-acer", cannot be viewed by any other computer, and cannot view the others. They all are part of the @HOME workgroup. It is Vista Home Premium all up-to-date w/2 gig memory. I removed the password - no help. When I have it try to get to another computer, it changes the name from "paul" to "jackies-acer\\paul" then fails. Any help urgently needed. TIA, Paul |
