Esata not working under Vista

I have just brought an external Hard Drive Enclosure ( Vantec NexStar
3 )which has esata ( external sata connector)as well as USB2 and as my mobo
(Asus A8N32-SLI )supports esata ( has a connection on the back plate ) I
expected it to work but nothing at all from it. Can connect via USB but I
would love the speed of esata.

Now is could be a Vista problem or something totally different . Any
suggestions ?

Re: Esata not working under Vista

Hi,

Check that the port is enabled in the system BIOS.
