Spell Checker

Up until recently, whenever I wrote a document in Word using both the French and English language, Word would automatically detect the languages.

Now, I have just opened a French/English document and all the French words are highlighted. I opened spell checker and tried to change the 'Dictionary Language' to French, but it still keeps reverting back to English.

I have also tried 'right-clicking' on the word and whereas before it would recognise it was French and give French options, now it is only in English no matter how many times I change the language under 'Tools'.

Can anybody throw some light on this please.

Regards

You might find more knowledgeable posters in one of the Office newsgroups
