Battery power-RC2

Hi,
Seems Aero;or whatever; is a SERIOUS battery hog in Vista RC2. Been on
battery for less than 10 munutes;after being fully charged;my battery has
lost 15%- 10 minutes;15%. Wow! Not a math genius;but that sux.BIGTIME.
Brand new laptop; what a resource hog.

Jeff:

Was the new portable marked "Vista Ready"?

My new Dell D420 was so marked and runs about the same as when on XP (about
7 hours on a 0 cell battery)

That should read 9 cell battery.

Re: Battery power-RC2

CZ,
Built with basic Vista specs; even b4 msft had hardware guidelines
out;publicly.
And battery was better in older builds.
