Re: Vista programs removed

Smoke,

Not sure what you mean by new programs with Vista.

Yes, some of the portions that were to be in Vista earlier were removed (the
new file system for one), but I'm not sure what you mean by new programs.

Can you clarify?

Re: Vista programs removed

Haven't heard anything like that. What programs are you thinking about, and
do you have a verifiable source?

Re: Vista programs removed

sorry, programs was the wrong word to use. i was at a small computer repair
shop the other day and i asked him about Vista. he told me that alot of the
extras that were going to be on Vista were removed to make a deadline and
that Vista would be no beter than XP-Pro it would just take up more memory.
i was wondering if there was any truth to this?

Re: Vista programs removed

You may consider finding another small computer repair shop.
